Young Leaders Experience - September, Birmingham

Young Leaders Experience has been created to safeguard the future of the sector by providing a way for housing associations to invest in talent management and succession planning and allowing them to develop the skills they need in their future cohort of leaders.

The unique, two-day event provides a truly immersive experience for delegates, delivering a mix of: training, education, practical hands on guidance, inspirational addresses, experiential learning, networking, coaching and mentoring. Featuring more than 12 hours of learning, delivered at an affordable rate with inexpensive local accommodation available as well, the event truly represents a truly high value investment.

What is a Young Leader?

Young leaders are the next generation of future chief executives and directors of housing associations. While some may be young, it is not really about age and there is no upper or lower age limit, so all are welcome. It’s about aspiration, ambition and appetite for a challenge. We are asking housing leaders and HR teams to examine their talent pools and identify who they think their future leaders are. But equally, if you are someone that wants to be on the track to leadership, then we would encourage you to speak to your managers to get yourself booked onto the Young Leaders Experience.
