After five successful years of presenting the best of Hindustani classical music to enraptured audiences in Singapore, Vocal Traditions of India is back with another highly acclaimed and lauded artiste, Jayateerth Mevundi, acclaimed by none other than the late Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, “I do not have to worry about the future of the Kirana gharana, when there are artistes like Jayateerth Mevundi.” This will be Jayateerth's first concert in Singapore. Accompanied by Narendra Nayak ( India ) on harmonium and Ravikiran Nakod ( India ) on tabla.
