Tom Jones, the legendary superstar and one of a handful of mega stars who regularly draws in the crowds at Las Vegas, will be in town for a one-night only concert at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). Singapore’s first integrated resort has upped the ante in entertainment by bringing in the music legend for a concert at the Compass Ballroom, Resorts World Convention Centre on March 26, 2010. With over 100 million albums sold to date, Tom Jones will be the first international superstar to perform at Resorts World Convention Centre, Singapore’s largest and column-free ballroom that can be configured to the occasion. Tom Jones, whose sterling career spans almost half a century, is a multi-award-winning entertainer with the rare ability to cut across generations and genres. A true icon of the music industry, he’s widely recognized as one of the godfathers of modern soul, a man without whom the likes of Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson, Joss Stone and Duffy would never have existed. At his concert in Singapore, Tom Jones, aka ‘The Voice’, will perform tracks from his latest album 24 Hours as well as innumerable hits across the decades, such as “It’s Not Unusual”, “She’s a Lady”, “What’s New Pussycat”, and “Sex Bomb”.
