About TCC Lung Cancer Day: The objective of TCC Lung Cancer Day is to educate the public about lung cancer, the risk of developing lung cancer in smokers and smoking cessation as a medical treatment. This is also part of Singapore Medical Group’s larger Corporate Social Responsibility act. Dr Wong Seng Weng, Medical Director and Consultant Medical Oncologist of The Cancer Centre, will be the main speaker at this event. He will deliver the talks in both English & Chinese (bilingual). Thereafter, participants can choose to sign up for the smoking cessation package with The Cancer Centre. The participant will be treated and followed up by The Cancer Centre for a period of 3 months. Thereafter, The Cancer Centre will obtain the participant’s consent to be referred to HPB Quitline for follow up.
