Ovum would like to invite you to an exclusive 2-day workshop, on 25- 26 November 2008 in Singapore where leading Ovum experts will examine Ovum's key findings in the area of commercial and regulatory developments for Next Generation Networks (NGNs) National NGN deployment is proceeding rapidly in various guises, sometimes facilitated by Government. Are policy makers and regulators ready for the implications? NGN core and access requires different regulatory approaches to ensure fair and open competition. How should NGN regulation be developed? What is an appropriate approach to NGN service pricing? Ovum, a leader in telecoms regulatory consulting and research, has been involved in many of the issues related to NGN transition and regulation. Our research team has been busy tracking NGN developments globally. NGN regulatory costing and commercial service pricing remains an open issue still being explored by regulators and industry. In this workshop we will walk through an Ovum developed NGN cost model to highlight the modelling impact of current regulatory approaches. We now present our findings and experience in a challenging workshop for regulatory specialists. This workshop will provide operators, policy makers and regulators with the background and knowledge to respond to the challenges of NGNs. The workshop will provide examples based on Ovum’s analysis and experience.
