Reliability Driven Asset Management
Understanding the method of developing maintenance plans that include all essential tasks to avoid unacceptable consequences of assets faults and failures, thereby maximizing asset productivity and minimizing lice cycle cost and risk
With dramatically rising operational and maintenance cost, a maintenance plan that only includes tasks that are essential to avoid unacceptable consequence of faults (deterioration in performance level) or failures you will maximize asset output (revenue) and minimize life cycle cost and risk. RDAM selects tasks based on a proper risk assessment. The RDAM method has been said to have closed the gaps in other methods and has been able to analyze a complete water treatment plant and all 47 electricity transmission and distribution assets within half a day each. When you follow the RDAM analysis up with the development of the Standard Task Instructions (STIs) you have a plan that covers the life of your assets and all associated instructions to enable your work force to implement each task correctly and in the safest and most efficient manner.
