Problem Gambling impacts family members and can leave them feeling overwhelmed and powerless. Frequent promises and assurances that are repeatedly broken can lead to family members feeling betrayed by the problem gambler, and sadness can evolve into feelings of anger and resentment, stress and depression. The magnitude of financial problems can devastate the family.
Brought to you by the National Addictions Management Service (NAMS), this forum, which is conducted in both English and Mandarin sessions, will provide family members with the knowledge and skills to step out of the shadow of problem gambling, reclaim their lives, and rebuild relationships.
