International Offshore Patrol Vessels 2010
Offshore Patrol Vessels are the fastest growing segment of the Naval Vessels Market. OPVs are being used in an increasing number of roles, including fishery protection, pollution control, fire-fighting, search and rescue, humanitarian operations, and EEZ patrol. At least 23 countries are known to have a total of 76 OPVs that have been ordered or planned. This is a market that is worth at least $10bn.
This international conference will cover both the high end war fighting vessels as well as the more basic multi-role vessels.
