Games Convention Asia 2008 (GCA) Date: 18-20 September 2008 Games Convention Asia (GCA) is the "Digital Media Gateway of Asia." The theme of Games Convention Asia 2008 is "Inspire Yourself". Described as the only event in the Asia-Pacific region enabling the interactive entertainment and digital media industries to network and interact with publishers, developers, distributors and corporate clients while showcasing their latest products and services to the public, GCA serves as the platform for Asian publishers, developers and distributors to present their work on an international level. The conference also acts as an entryway for companies seeking to enter the Asian interactive entertainment market. Games Convention Asia Conference 2008 (GCAC) Date: 18-19 September 2008 Accompanying Games Convention Asia 2008 is Games Convention Asia Conference (GCAC), founded on the concepts of "Developing & Development" and in producing the "GCA 2008 Competition". The conference will see international speakers who are the experts in the interactive and digital entertainment. Speakers at the first GCAC in 2007 included Gilles Langourieux (Virtuos, China), Desmond Lu Guangyuan (Shanda, China), Bob Bates (Legendary Game Designer and Writer, USA), James Miller (Microsoft, USA), Aroon Tan (10tacle, Singapore), and Steve Schnur (EA, USA).
