SCYA proudly presents our first exhibition "Family Pictures" in the brand new year of 2012, curated by Benedict Chen. In view of the celebratory period from December '11 and Jan'12, SCYA aims to highlight the importance of a family unit, and strike home that personal matters often are the greatest source of inspiration. This exhibition features 9 artists from a range of disciplines: Wong Tze Chau, Rachel Elffin, Jacquelyn Soo, Malvina Tan, Sha Najak, Kelvin Atmadibrata, Yoricko Liu, Rachel Chan & Benedict Chen. These contemporary works will revisit the significance of reunion from personal interpretations and confrontations of the artists' histories with their family. Official Opening: 13 Jan, 6.30pm.
