Amore Women's Day Out this year will be the kick-off event for "A BOND Like No Other. SPORT IT!", a campaign by the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) to encourage women in Singapore to take a pro-active and more zealous approach towards sports. Amore Women's Day Out is the largest women-only aerobic-based sporting event in Singapore. Back for its sixth installment in 2008, Amore Women's Day Out will be held on the 11 and 12 October 2008. There are different segments for ladies to choose from - "Experience Fitness" for fitness newbies, the 3-hour "Aerobics Challenge" for aerobics pros, and "Body-Mind-Soul" for yoga enthusiasts. There will also be a new segment, the "POWER of 2" that allows mothers to have a fun workout with their children. Other exciting fringe activities include rock climbing, Muay Thai, in-line skating, archery and fencing.
